How to test your Fruit for Brix and maturity- Sept 9th- 3rd Quarterly meeting

At the Sept 9th quarterly meeting, we will have a presentation from Dr. Bob Norton on how to test your fruit for maturity.  He will bring some fruit samples and they will undergo our testing. We’ll have two stations set up where participants will be able to work in small groups to view Dr. Bob’s easy iodine solution testing (yes, you too can do this at home!) and Carolina Nurik will show you how to determine Brix (sugar content)  with a refractometer.
